What is Community Care Outreach Center?
Community Care Outreach Center is located in the heart of Pointe Coupee Parish. For over
a decade, CCOC has eagerly supported the educational development of Pointe Coupee's most precious resources:
its children. Since its' beginning as an outreach program of the St. Jude Spirit and Truth Worship Center.
CCOC has blossomed into a 501c3 nonprofit organization propelled by the idea that "no child will be left behind."
With more than a decade of services under its' belt, CCOC looks forward to many more years of impacting the lives
of Pointe Coupee's children simply because we know that if a community correctly educates its children, then
that community can expect a healthy, productive future.
At Community Care Outreach Center, we strive to incorporate the needed balance of academics,
recreation, enrichment, and cultural activities into the lives of the children we serve in our Afterschool, Saturday,
and Summer Programs.
We
have over 120 children from Pointe Coupee's areas schools attend our sites each day. Our K-12th
grade students participate in activities like:
Homework Assistance
Tutoring
& Physical Fitness
Educational Field Trips
Entrepreneurship
Education
Community Service Projects
Arts & Crafts

CCOC is proud to lead the way to community change by shaping the lives of
Pointe Coupee's children one smile, one hug, one test, one mentor, and one step at a time.
